Setup Your Online Fax Service

In the first step of setting up your RingCentral account, you must first pick out either a toll free, vanity or local number of your choice. An example picture below, you can have many different choices of toll free prefixes to choose from. Once you have chosen a prefix in step 1, you can choose a number from the list in step 2. If you wanted a vanity number (Example 1(888)MYTEAMS), then you can select that tab and they have a little tool where you would enter you text and it will generate a number for you. However, there is a one-time fee charge of $30.00 activation fee for a vanity number and if you did not want either a toll free number or vanity, you may definitely choose a local number. It may also take up to 7 days for a vanity number to become active.

After you have chosen your telephone number, you will go through a series of steps to enter your credit card and verify your information. This process is a bit more lengthy compared to other similar services. Now you have you have inputted your billing information , they will ask you to verify your account by entering a mobile or landline. After the verification with a pin number, you will then need to verify via e-mail.

The nice thing about RingCentral is that this online fax company does a great job into teaching you how to send and receive faxes. After the payment and verification, you enter an express setup. This is where you tell me about your company and then they direct you to a page to teach you to start using the services

User Interface

The user interface is very simple and easy to navigate due to the simplicity of design. Under the overview tab, you will see your recent messages or calls. This message tab is that tab that contains all of your faxes  in your inbox, outbox, sent and voicemail. The call log will consist of your calls in details with information of date, time, name and phone number. There is also a contact page, where you can create your business individual contacts or groups.

The Call Log tab allows you to sort through your calls in detail, with filters by date, time, name or phone number. You can also create an address book for individuals or groups under Contacts.

Under the settings tab, you have the option to block certain numbers from your account if you receive unwanted faxes or phone number.
